To qualify as a GAF Master Select contractor, a commercial roofing contractor must:

  1. Maintain insurance – Roofing insurance has at least two parts: general liability insurance to cover accidental property damage, and workers’ compensation to cover physical injuries. To qualify as a GAF Master Elite contractor, our insurance must have both and must be kept be up-to-date.

  2. Be licensed by the state, province, or territory – While the Ohio Construction Industry Licensing Board (OCILB) doesn’t issue state licenses for roofing contractors, we have valid licenses in all cities we operate in. These licenses are always up to date, or we lose our designation.

  3. Be trained to install GAF products – Part of our commitment as a GAF-designated roofing contractor is keeping our team members trained to install GAF’s products. And as the brand continues to develop their products, we are also committed to continuous training. This keeps our skills honed and makes our installations reflect GAF’s high roofing standards.
